Overview
* Permanent part-time position – minimum 45.8 hours/fortnight - 0.6 FTE
* 1 – 3 days / week (rotating roster across Monday - Saturday)
* Location: Kensington; Free Parking
* Opportunity for additional hours
About the Role
Our Housekeepers maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of client rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces at Ngala's facilities. To support the overall comfort and well-being of families attending Ngala services.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Cleaning of bathrooms, toilets and other wet areas.
* Maintaining supply of consumables, cleaning supplies and linen.
* Safe use of chemicals and observing infection control practices
* Record and document cleaning activities as required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and use of Material Safety Data Sheets
* Effective communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Commitment to continuous improvement in care standards
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
* Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Check issued within the last 6 months
* Current Working with Children Check
