We are seeking a skilled and motivated Jet Ski Mechanic to join our dynamic team and ensure our fleet is maintained to the highest standard of performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance of jet skis.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pump/fuel system faults.
- Carry out rebuilds and component replacements as required.
- Ensure all equipment meets strict safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Work efficiently within a busy marine workshop environment.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimise downtime and maximise fleet readiness.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Marine Mechanic, or Light/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with transferable skills.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of marine servicing.
- Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
Mandatory Licences & Certifications
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- PWC Licence or Coxswain (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid + CPR (or willingness to obtain).
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification) preferred.
- Apprentices with relevant mechanical training will be considered.
