WE ARE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR A GARDEN AND MAINTENANCE WORKER FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTRES IN MEDOWIE, NEWCASTLE AND MORISSET.
This position is for 22.5 hours per week, over 3 days.
Work car and tools provided.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
* Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises
* Performing inventory on supplies
* Keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organised
* Making and installing new furniture or equipment
* Conducting annual Test and Tag
* Performing general maintenance tasks for the buildings, such as window washing, drywall repairs, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more
* Performing basic gardening tasks including mowing and whipper snipping.
* Responding to and completing maintenance requests.
Trade certificate preferred but not essential. Current Employee Working With Children Check required.
