We are seeking a senior project leader to oversee the delivery of significant capital works projects and programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering, project and contract management.
As the principal project manager, you will play a key leadership role within the major projects branch. You will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing contractors and consultants, and ensuring the successful delivery of transformative projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
* Extensive experience in project and contract management, preferably in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve project and corporate objectives.
* Working knowledge and understanding of relevant standards and legislation.
* Working knowledge and understanding of project management frameworks, such as PMBOK and PRINCE2.
* Demonstrated information technology, verbal, written communication and negotiation skills that establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders.
