ChoiceOne is partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturer to recruit an experienced Production Manager for a permanent, full-time role from day one.
This senior leadership role offers a $135k base salary plus superannuation, along with a site vehicle provided for travel between sites when required. You will oversee production operations across two manufacturing sites, leading a large team and driving safety, performance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of production operations across Canning Vale and Balcatta. You will lead approximately 30 direct reports, ensuring safety, quality, reliability, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Champion a safety-first culture with a zero-harm mindset
• Lead and manage all production activities across two sites
• Ensure products are delivered on time and to specification
• Drive productivity, quality, cost, and reliability performance
• Embed LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
• Execute weekly production plans while minimising waste and downtime
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Reliability, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics teams
• Develop, coach, and mentor production leaders and technicians
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards
• Promote open, honest, and respectful communication across teams
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management role
• Strong background in LEAN manufacturing and operational excellence
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large teams
• Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving capability
• Strong SAP experience
• Exposure to blow moulding and/or injection moulding highly regarded
• Comfortable driving change and continuous improvement initiatives
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or similar (preferred)
• 5–7+ years' experience in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing
