Job Description
The role of an Underground Mechanical Supervisor requires a strong leader who can effectively manage and maintain the reliability of Fixed Plant operations.
As a member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians on shutdown days, improving and maintaining the underground mechanical fixed plant's performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a strong commitment to health, safety, and a culture that is inclusive for everyone.
* Coaching and developing multi-skilled trades personnel to optimize their skills.
* Leading, engaging, and empowering people to increase their capabilities.
* Overseeing the execution of planned and scheduled maintenance, as well as breakdown work.
* Working closely with the maintenance execution team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Communicating effectively across multiple levels and disciplines.
Requirements and Qualifications

* Foster a positive and productive working relationship between team members and other departments.
* Previous experience leading high-performing maintenance teams.
* A Maintenance Trade or Engineering qualification is highly advantageous.
* A background in heavy industry, construction, or mining is essential.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Exceptional risk management skills.
* A valid driver's license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
