About Turium

At Turium, we’re not just building software—we’re redefining how enterprise works through intelligence. Our platforms power decision-making, automation, and transformation at scale for governments, major enterprises, and mission-critical industries. From public sector reform to edge ML deployment, we bring deep tech and bold ideas to where scale meets impact. We live at the intersection of data, systems, and machine learning—and we’re obsessed with making it all actually work.

The Role:

We’re looking for curious, sharp, and driven minds to join us as Machine Learning Engineer Interns on a 3-month journey into real-world ML engineering. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside Turium’s engineering, ML, and product teams to build smart, scalable solutions with real-world impact. You’ll work on key Turium platforms, applying machine learning to solve complex problems that stretch across industries and domains.

What You’ll Actually Do:

* Design, train, and optimise machine learning models for enterprise use cases
* Prototype new ML features using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
* Work with engineers to deploy models into production systems
* Preprocess, clean, and analyse data using Pandas, NumPy, and SQL
* Tune model performance, evaluate results, and iterate fast
* Contribute to project documentation and internal ML tooling
* Learn from experienced ML engineers—and share your ideas, too

The Tech Stack You’ll Touch:

* Languages : Python (must), JavaScript (nice to have)
* ML Frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
* Data Tools : Pandas, NumPy, SQL, visualisation libraries
* DevOps : Git, GitHub, Docker

What You Bring to the Table:

* Currently studying, or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science degree
* Strong Python skills and a natural curiosity for how ML works under the hood
* Familiarity with ML concepts like supervised learning, model evaluation, overfitting, etc.
* You’ve played with a few models and want to go deeper—into pipelines, deployments, and real data
* Collaborative mindset and ability to ask the right questions
* Clear communicator who can explain models, trade-offs, and results to humans
* Bonus: you're comfortable exploring open-source tools and frameworks on your own

Why Intern at Turium?

This is more than a foot in the door—it’s a deep dive into real machine learning engineering. At Turium, interns are:

* Embedded in real teams working on real deployments
* Mentored by experienced ML professionals
* Trusted with meaningful, production-focused projects
* Exposed to both the engineering side and the real-world constraints of ML
* Given space to learn, ask questions, experiment—and make an impact

If you’re ready to build smart systems that make things better, faster, and fairer—we’d love to hear from you.
