Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Social Media Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, curating, and managing content across multiple social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and engages our community. You will work directly onsite and collaborate closely with our sales, events and venue managers to execute campaigns and build a strong, consistent social media presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Create and post daily content on platforms including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
* Develop and implement content strategies tailored to different platforms, focusing on increasing engagement and follower growth.
* Monitor social media trends and adjust content to stay relevant and impactful.
* Collaborate with the sales, events and venue managers to create campaigns that align with overall marketing objectives.
* Analyze and report on social media metrics, optimizing content and strategies based on performance.
* Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and aesthetic across all platforms.
* Respond to audience comments and direct messages in a timely and engaging manner.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in social media, photography, videography, and design.
* Assist with other content-related tasks, including video shoots and graphic design.
* Engage with our community and build relationships with influencers and partners.
Requirements
* Proven experience creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook etc.), minimum 2 years.
* Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design/video editing software).
* Knowledge of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
* Creative, resourceful, and a self-starter with a passion for storytelling.
* Previous experience in a content creation or social media management is a must.
* Must be able to work onsite at our East Perth office on the river.
