Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for the development and delivery of financial management and operational reports. You will also be expected to undertake proactive analysis across your portfolio to challenge and drive business outcomes.
* Provide financial and commercial support and advice to the business units.
* Manage month end activities including preparation of key journals that support the accurate reporting of the performance and underlying operational expenditure, people costs and associated FTE count of the corporate functions.
* Provide management reporting, review of spend and budget performance, forecasts and actuals for operating expenditure, payroll and other margin accountabilities.
* Review financial and operational performances with the business, ensuring risks to budget are highlighted and plans are put in place to achieve budget. Provide detailed analysis, as required, and demonstrate understanding of key processes / functions / systems.
Responsibilities
* Financial Management and Analysis:
o Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision making.
o Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
o Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
* Budgeting and Forecasting:
o Develop and manage budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
o Forecast future financial performance to inform business decisions.
* Decision Support:
o Provide analytical support to business leaders to inform decision making.
o Develop and present recommendations to stakeholders.
* Financial Governance:
o Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
o Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
* Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
o Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* CIMA/CPA/ACCA/CA qualification or equivalent experience.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management and analysis.
* Prior payroll management experience desired but not essential.
