Overview
Green Light is looking for a Business Analyst with experience working with business teams on a Federal government end‐customer in the mining sector. The role involves working on multiple projects within a large program, focusing on business process re‐engineering, transformation and change management.
Local travel to and from the site will be required.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate workshops to elicit and document business requirements.
* Define and work with business teams on re‐engineering process changes.
* Document business requirements and processes.
* Develop requirements traceability matrix and align with solution design.
* Support the Project Manager in scope management.
* Raise risk, issues and changes affecting the project for resolution.
* Participate in technology projects and implementations.
* Manage user acceptance testing with business and technical teams.
* Provide updates to the project team on deliverables and scheduled tasks.
* Demonstrate a self‐starter, proactive attitude with a delivery focus.
* Handle multiple conflicting priorities simultaneously.
* Maintain attention to detail and produce high‐quality outputs.
* Communicate effectively at all levels.
Skills and Experience
* 5+ years as a Business Analyst.
* Certifications in BABOK, ITIL or equivalent.
* Degree in Information Technology, Change Management, Business or related field.
* Experience in the mining sector is highly regarded.
* Self‐motivated, confident, and able to manage time and hit the ground running.
Assignment Details
* Initial 6‐month assignment.
* Mining end‐customer.
* Perth office.
