About the role
Aurizon is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious team member to support the smooth operation of our depot store. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our rollingstock running efficiently by ensuring the right materials are available when and where they're needed.
Working Monday to Friday (38-hour week)
Performing routine inventory management processes, receiving, and dispatching stock and daily site operations
Build, assemble and supply maintenance kits & picks as required
Provide excellent service to various customers and stakeholders
Conduct internal and vendor held stocktaking, inclusive of cycle counts
Identification and rectification of catalogue and supply faults
Assist with the maintenance of warehouse security, safe operating conditions, and general housekeeping
Operating a forklift to safely load, secure and unload materials for delivery vehicles and the use of an internal high reach forklift

Ability to work with limited supervision and good communication skills
National C Class Driver's License (Mandatory)
High Risk Work class LF License (Mandatory)
Appropriate experience working in Warehousing (Minimum 3 years preferred)
Relevant training in the use of Warehouse modules
Internal Isolation Lockout Training (Mandatory)
Commitment to additional safety training and awareness packages including Dangerous Goods, Load restraint and Chain of Responsibility
SAP knowledge in Materials Management (Mandatory)
Strong understanding of policies and procedures
Basic Microsoft Suite capability including Outlook, Excel and Word
