Our Executive team is the highest decision-making body, responsible for ensuring the Institute operates in the most effective and efficient way.

We are offering a 6-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to work closely with and support Executive-level management, predominantly supporting our Director Partnerships & Engagement, and Director Innovation & Impact.

The Executive Assistant will play an integral role in maintaining the Institute's reputation through effective planning, communication and execution of key tasks. This role will also collaborate and communicate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

* Preparing and formatting documentation including correspondence, board and executive reports.
* Managing all phone and email requests, prioritising urgent matters and actioning accordingly.
* Extensive diary management including organising complex meetings and commitments.
* Event and travel management, including booking flights, accommodation and catering.
* Preparation of executive agenda, papers, minutes and actions to allocated committees as required.

Conveniently located at Perth Children's Hospital, this short-term position is required until 24 December 2026.

About You

This diverse and dynamic role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, complex environment managing multiple priorities whilst interacting at senior levels of the Institute with confidence.

Along with this, your application must also demonstrate the following:

* Demonstrated experience providing high level administrative support to an Executive or senior leadership team.
* Exceptional organisational skills, prioritising administrative tasks and systems, including managing competing tasks efficiently and ensuring deadlines are met under pressure.
* A high level of attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and creativity in problem solving.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
