ACADEMIC COURSE WRITER
Salary: $122,641-$138,131 (HEW 8)
Location: Joondalup Campus, Full‐time Fixed‐Term (6months)
About the Opportunity
Collaborate with academic staff to translate curriculum concepts into proposals for new and revised higher education degree programmes and masterclasses. This includes leading the articulation of program or course vision; development of learning outcomes, graduate domains, and course structure; ensuring alignment with ECU's educational frameworks, strategic priorities, and pedagogical standards; and performing benchmarking of similar programmes.
Liaise with ECU centres to perform market analysis for new programmes. Coordinate proposal development timelines and documentation, managing drafts, iterations, and approvals to ensure submissions are delivered to a high standard and within required timeframes.
Develop and document feasible delivery and operational models for masterclass offerings, including resourcing, scheduling, and student experience considerations. Participate in all ECU, team, and individual planning activities and comply with ECU policies, WHS, and EO requirements, ensuring safety and well‐being.
