About the Role
Working in conjunction with the engineering and production teams, you will evaluate opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and support the implementation of a structured
Lean Excellence System
. You'll play a key role in shaping how the site operates—driving smarter, safer, and more efficient ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs
* Develop and execute plans to enhance, replace, or introduce new equipment and processes
* Support the implementation and ongoing management of a Lean-based Excellence System
* Facilitate, train, and coach team members in Lean tools and methodologies
* Promote a strong culture of
Quality, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), and Environmental compliance
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
* Engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution
* Minimum
3 years' experience
in a production, manufacturing, or process engineering role
* Proven experience with
Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
* Strong team player with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders
* Proficiency in
Microsoft 365
, with experience in
AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
highly regarded
* Must have full Australian working rights
