Based in Box Hill, you'll support the East Melbourne region as part of our Commercial Banking business, working with a dynamic portfolio of Small to Medium Enterprises, typically with turnovers up to $30M and debt facilities up to $10M. With a fully diversified client base, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of industries and lending scenarios.
Do Work That Matters
We're looking for a motivated Credit Analyst who enjoys financial analysis, solving complex problems, and partnering closely with Relationship Executives. In this role, you'll contribute through financial modelling, client and industry research, and risk assessment, while also joining client visits to see firsthand how we support business growth.
What You Will Do
* Assess creditworthiness, conduct due diligence, and model financial risk
* Support quality credit management, portfolio monitoring, and risk mitigation
* Partner with business bankers to align client needs and enhance service
* Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance
* Research prospects, prepare credit submissions, and complete annual reviews
We are ideally looking for someone with banking experience, although it's not essential for the right candidate with strong analytical capability and a willingness to learn.
What You Will Bring
* Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, supported by a business or commerce degree
* Solid understanding of financial statements and cash‑flow analysis
* Sound judgement across risk, compliance, and credit assurance
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively while navigating complex transactions
* Confidence engaging with and presenting to stakeholders
