As the Project Logistics Coordinator based in Brisbane with Australian project coverage you will be responsible for the end‐to‐end planning, coordination, and execution of project logistics activities supporting special mining operations in Papua New Guinea. The role ensures the safe, compliant, cost‐effective, and on‐schedule movement of project cargo—including containerised, break‐bulk, heavy lift, and out‐of‐gauge (OOG) equipment—from global vendors through ports and transport corridors to remote PNG mine sites.
Experience Required
* 5+ years' experience in project logistics, preferably within mining, resources, or heavy industry.
* Vendor and Supplier coordination.
* Demonstrated experience managing containers, break‐bulk, heavy lift and OOG cargo.
* Strong understanding of PNG logistics environments, remote operations, and infrastructure constraints.
* Experience coordinating freight forwarders, shipping lines, and heavy transport contractors.
* Desirable to have experience supporting PNG mine construction or sustaining capital projects.
* Knowledge of customs clearance and biosecurity processes for PNG.
* Logistics, supply chain, or engineering‐related qualification.
* Knowledge with cargowise.
