As Group Procurement Manager at Cachet Group, you will work collaboratively with the Managing Director, Head of Delivery, estimating team, and General Managers to develop and lead strategic procurement and purchasing initiatives across the business.
This role is critical in strengthening Cachet's supply chain, improving commercial outcomes, and building long-term, high-performing supplier partnerships. With a strong focus on quality, pricing, safety, and consistency. You will create scalable procurement frameworks that support project delivery, design intent, and ongoing client service.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and implement strategic procurement and purchasing initiatives across Cachet Group in collaboration with senior leadership, including the Managing Director, Head of Delivery, Estimating, and General Managers.
* Develop and manage a robust vendor pre-qualification and performance framework, covering quality, pricing, safety, and agreed commercial terms.
* Strengthen and expand Cachet's supply chain by building high-performing supplier partnerships, including preferred supplier agreements, rebates, and preferential pricing.
* Establish group-wide procurement strategies for design-specified items, general building materials, furniture, lighting, Audio Visual, and access control solutions.
* Design and oversee a structured furniture procurement process, including design team engagement, budget control, supplier negotiation, and identification of group-wide bulk purchasing opportunities.
* Create and manage Cachet Group customer accounts and pricing agreements with multiple suppliers per location across key categories such as whitegoods, appliances, and hydraulic fixtures.
* Source and manage lighting and system furniture supply agreements, ensuring scalable, standardised, and customisable solutions aligned to design intent and project needs.
* Develop strategic partnerships with Audio Visual and Access Control vendors to deliver an integrated client offering, including ongoing service and maintenance through Cachet Care.
About You
You're a commercially minded procurement leader with a strong understanding of construction and fit-out environments, who thrives on building trusted, long-term supplier partnerships. You bring a strategic yet hands-on approach, balancing design intent, operational efficiency, and commercial performance to deliver consistent value across the group.
* Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management within construction, property, or fit-out environments.
* Strong understanding of construction materials, supplier markets, and procurement processes, including pricing structures, contracts, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
* Highly organised and commercially astute, with the ability to manage multiple procurement streams and priorities across a diverse supplier base.
* Experience negotiating supplier agreements, rebates, preferred pricing, and trade accounts, with strong financial and commercial judgement.
* Strategic and solutions-focused mindset, able to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve supply chain performance, and support scalable business growth.
* Collaborative and delivery-oriented, with the ability to work closely with design, estimating, delivery, and Care teams to support project success.
