With upcoming growth, the organisation will employ more than 1,400 staff and volunteers, delivering personalised care to close to 2,000 South Australians.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the wider Leadership Team, this newly created role provides strategic leadership in enterprise-wide risk and compliance management, ensuring LHG has robust frameworks, policies, systems and capability in place. Key responsibilities include:Leading and overseeing internal governance frameworks, policies, and processes to ensure compliance with aged care legislation, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements;Consolidating and delivering the organisation’s internal audit program across various services lines;Acting as the key governance advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, providing assurance over corporate governance, risk, and compliance matters;Designing and continuously improving the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, ensuring proactive risk identification and mitigation;Overseeing business continuity planning, crisis management, and insurance strategies to safeguard the organisation;Leading compliance and risk due diligence for acquisitions and expansions, and providing risk oversight for digital transformation projects;Fostering a risk-aware culture and providing strategic oversight.Applications are encouraged from qualified senior risk and compliance professionals with proven experience in enterprise risk management, governance, and compliance, ideally within an organisation of similar scale and complexity, or professional services.The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to balance risk mitigation and organisational effectiveness while achieving business improvement.
