The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For
* Start-up and running of processing plant.
* Maintenance of equipment.
* Fault finding.
* Order spares, follow up on orders.
* Daily attending to breakdowns in processing plant.
* Maintaining and implementing the continuous improvement programme (20 keys) as well as the Health, Safety and Environmental programme.
The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements
* Qualified Electrician (Red Seal).
* Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Experience and knowledge of PLC's.
* Experience of MEYN evisceration equipment will be advantageous.
* Must be computer literate – MS Office.
* Ammonia experience will be advantageous.
* Must have driver's license and reliable transport.
* Initiative and ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment, a willingness to learn as well as personal and professional integrity are key requirements.
* Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
* The candidate should be hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
* Ability to cope under pressure.
* Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and/or standby.
* Fluent in English and another language will be preferable.
