About the Role
We are seeking casual experienced Disability Support Workers to assist clients in Benalla and surrounding regions with community access, SIL support, participation in community hubs, and personal care. You will be supporting individuals with a range of needs including meal assistance, mobility, and companionship, helping them maintain independence and quality of life.
Your key responsibilities
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:
* Engaging clients in community, social, and recreational activities
* Assisting with medication prompts (as required)
* Promoting independence, dignity, and respect at all times
* Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with the care team
About you
To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in disability or aged care
* Personal care and manual handling experience (essential)
* Current First Aid and CPR
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
* Driver Licence and reliable transport
* Manual Handling and Medication Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
