About The Roles
Monash Health is offering multiple opportunities for passionate pharmacists to join our
Registrar Training Programs
across four specialty areas:
* Geriatric Medicine
* Emergency Medicine
* Cancer Services
* Medication Safety
These full-time, two-year structured programs are designed to advance your practice from an ANZCAP-recognised Resident Pharmacist to a Registrar Pharmacist. Each program provides a unique pathway to develop advanced clinical, operational, and leadership skills in your chosen specialty.
You'll rotate across Monash Health sites, work within multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to research and quality improvement projects. Supported by experienced mentors and educators, you'll gain hands-on experience and accelerate your career in a nationally recognised program.
What Your Day Might Look Like
* Deliver safe, high-quality pharmacy services in your specialty area
* Participate in structured learning activities and complete a research or quality improvement project
* Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to optimise medication management
* Provide education and support to patients, carers, and clinical teams
* Contribute to policy development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives

About Us

About You
You're a hospital pharmacist with 3–7 years of experience, ready to specialise and take your career to the next level. You're collaborative, curious, and committed to improving patient outcomes through advanced practice, education, and research.
To Be Considered For These Roles, You Will Need
* Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
* ANZCAP Resident-level experience or equivalent
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in interprofessional teams
* A commitment to education, research, and quality improvement
* Desirable: postgraduate qualifications, clinical supervision training, and research experience
