The Navy's Anchorage (TNA) is a purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation proudly supporting Australian Navy personnel and those who support them. Across Navy bases and defence facilities nationwide, we operate cafés, bars, and retail outlets that serve with pride, passion, and exceptional quality.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a standout barista who's also ready to roll up their sleeves and support general café operations. Casual role | hours per week | Monday to Friday only
Must be an Australian citizen for clearance.
What You'll Be Doing
* Crafting consistently excellent espresso and milk-based coffee
* Supporting à la carte service with professionalism and warmth
* Preparing fresh sandwiches and café-style meals
* Welcoming and serving customers with genuine care
* Assisting with cleaning, restocking, and POS transactions
* Opening and closing the café with attention to detail
Who You Are
* Proven barista experience with a passion for quality and consistency
* Experience in food prep or café-style cooking (advantageous)
* Friendly, professional, and confident in customer-facing roles
* HACCP and WHS awareness
* Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash
* High attention to presentation and hygiene
* Availability for early morning weekday shifts
* Able to pass an Australian Security Clearance
