Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel - Infrastructure Expert
Our client is a key player in the delivery and management of complex infrastructure assets that support critical transport networks across Western Australia.
* Job Description:
* Support the delivery of complex, long-term service contracts and infrastructure solutions by providing strategic legal expertise to commercial, operational, and project teams.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and project agreements.
* Providing legal advice on procurement processes, risk allocation, project structuring, and compliance matters.
* Supporting the legal aspects of major bids and tenders, including interaction with government agencies and consortia partners.
* Advising on contract delivery, performance issues, and claims management, with a strong focus on dispute avoidance and commercial resolution.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 6+ years of post-admission experience from a reputable law firm or in-house role, with extensive experience in front-end legal work and project delivery within the infrastructure sector.
* Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex construction and infrastructure contracts.
* Practical experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on front-end matters across bids and tenders.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive and adaptable mindset, able to navigate and resolve complex challenges.
* Capability to work independently and excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
