Barto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer operating since 2009, focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. Located in the Goldfields region of WA, Southern Cross Operations is the company's flagship, with a tenement package exceeding 1,400km2 and significant exploration potential. The operation includes a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, three active underground mines, two open pits, and new opportunities. The plant is approximately 30 years old, featuring a three-stage crushing circuit, three ball mills, and a conventional CIL circuit.

About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Process Manager oversees all processing and maintenance activities within the department. The role provides leadership and direction, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the mill at all times. The Process Manager is accountable for achieving steady-state operations aligned with production targets.
The role is offered on an 8/6 BIBO from Perth.
About you:
* Proven experience in gold processing, including 5+ years in a managerial role, with a passion for leading high-performing teams.
* Demonstrated leadership skills that foster trust, engagement, and consistent performance.
* Experience in building a stable team culture through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development.
* Strong practical knowledge of gold processing and mineral processing.
* Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
* Track record of delivering results and enhancing productivity.
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
* Experience with incident investigation (ICAM or similar) and team-based risk assessments.
* Experience with SAP (Essential).
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent; or progress towards a Frontline Management diploma or similar qualification.
* Strong technical knowledge supporting processing operations.
* Operational experience in the Australian mining environment with leadership skills.
