The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior finance leader who can bring strategic oversight, operational rigour, and calm authority to a complex, regulated environment while remaining deeply aligned to purpose.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be a trusted partner to the executive and leadership team, influencing decision-making, strengthening controls, and ensuring the organisation is financially resilient, audit-ready, and future-focused.

What You Will Lead
* Provide strategic financial leadership in close partnership with the CEO and executive team
* Oversee and strengthen end-to-end financial operations, including payroll, payments, procurement, compliance, vendor management, and financial reporting
* Build and embed robust financial governance, accountability frameworks, and scalable systems
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, acquittals, and financial reporting across government-funded programs
* Translate complex financial and regulatory requirements into clear, practical insights for non-financial leaders
* Analyse risk, identify emerging issues, and proactively drive solutions
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
* Ensure financial systems, procedures, and data remain fit-for-purpose in a changing regulatory landscape
* Act as a key liaison with auditors, regulators, government agencies, and external partners

What You Bring
Essential Experience & Capability
* Demonstrated ability to operate under pressure, manage competing priorities, and lead through complexity
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executives, boards, regulators, and frontline leaders
* Proven capability in identifying risk, driving improvement, and embedding financial discipline
* High level of discretion, professionalism, and ethical judgment
* Experience using accounting systems such as Xero
* Direct experience in Aged Care and/or NDIS environments
