The Clinical Registrar Psychologist program provides an opportunity for newly qualified psychologists to make the transition to professional practice in a structured and supported two-year program.
This position offers twelve-month clinical rotations in adult, youth, and child and adolescent community services, facilitating the expansion of skills and experience through movement across inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health care and treatment to clients;
* To participate in the development and implementation of mental health programs and services;
* To contribute to the education and training of students and other staff members;
* To engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in psychology and/or a related field, as well as relevant postgraduate qualifications. You must also have experience working in mental health settings and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, take direction, and receive feedback. Strong time management and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
