AbSec – NSW Child, Family and Community Peak Aboriginal Corporation, is the peak organisation for Aboriginal children, young people and families in NSW. We provide an Aboriginal perspective on child protection and out-of-home care policy to the NSW Government and support Aboriginal-led organisations deliver effective services for Aboriginal children, young people and families. We are a not-for-profit, incorporated community organisation, governed by an all-Aboriginal board.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Digital Marketing Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in strengthening AbSec's communications and marketing footprint across digital platforms. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital campaigns, managing content across social media, email, and website channels, and ensuring AbSec's messaging resonates with its diverse audiences.
Working collaboratively across the organisation to elevate the visibility of programs, initiatives, and sector advocacy, supporting AbSec's mission to champion Aboriginal children, young people, and families in NSW.
This role is integral to the successful collaboration between the communications department and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring cohesive planning, execution and measurement of communication and marketing workstreams.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, create, and deliver integrated digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, PPC, and content channels.
* Manage and update AbSec's digital platforms including the website (WordPress/Elementor), social media profiles, and content calendars to ensure engaging, accessible, and culturally aligned content.
* Design and produce digital assets (graphics, videos, templates) using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, maintaining strong brand consistency.
* Monitor, analyse, and report on digital performance using analytics tools, providing insights to guide strategy and improvements.
* Collaborate across teams and support organisational activities, including events and communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with AbSec's values and objectives.

Full-time 35-hour week based in Marrickville
Salary: SCHADS Level 4 commensurate with skills and experience plus superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging
