Join our dynamic Supply Chain team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of imported and exported materials across Australia and New Zealand.
In this exciting fixed-term contract opportunity, you'll not only drive the efficient management of stock, including our vital travel retail and MH Private channels, but also contribute to groundbreaking initiatives. You'll be instrumental in the implementation of a new Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool and further integrate Machine Learning forecasting into our monthly ANZ cycle.
Working closely with our experienced Demand Planner, you'll take ownership of the forecasting process for the entire ANZ region. Your insights will be crucial in reviewing and recommending enhancements to our Supply Chain functionality, contributing directly to our regional IBP project. Beyond internal collaboration, you'll build and nurture strong operational relationships with our logistics partners, ensuring top-tier communication throughout the import and export process.
This will be a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Job Responsibilities How you will contribute... Demand Planning
* Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
* Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
* Closely coordinate and communicate action plans with regional Supply Planning team based in Singapore
* Review sales plans, budget updates, latest estimates and demand drivers
* Improve planning processes and models. Identify improvement opportunities, and drive projects to completion, to achieve targeted measurable benefits.
* Update monthly demand plan to trigger on time replenishment for all 7 warehouses
* Provide timely vintage switch (phase in phase out) and new product forecasts
* Assess SLOB inventory
* Measure forecast accuracy by analysing forecasts on a monthly basis and liaise with the business to validate major differences vs previous months and/or past trends. Take a proactive approach to improve 'Sales forecast accuracy' and report to the region.
* Proactive participation in the monthly forecast review meetings with the region
* Sharing of forecasts with the Wineries, Chandon & Cloudy Bay
* Integrate the Travel Retail forecasts and plan accordingly for right stock in the right place
* Support the Private Client team forecasting process to improve the forecast for the D2C channel.
Imports/Exports
* Establish a level of expertise in Australian & New Zealand imports and export regulations as to provide MHA with an ongoing level of expertise in managing the outsourced imports/Exports functions.
* Coordinate and produce all necessary documentation to permit timely and efficient transfer of materials. Maintain and where appropriate improve on current methods for the storage and retrieval of all customs related documents.
* Working with the local Wineries to ensure on time placement of Purchase Orders across ANZ, following up and ensure on time in full orders.
Projects
* Drive, support and participate in Supply Chain projects when required and provide inputs on process improvements.
* Proactive management of slow moving and obsolete inventories (i.e. request for rework, re-allocation, re-labeling, product substitution)
* Support the implementation of the regional IBP project
Profile
* Tertiary Education/training in Supply Chain or Logistics a definite advantage
* At least 2 years relevant working experience in Demand Planning within a fast-paced environment
* Solid understanding of Sales& Operations Planning (S&OP) and a proven track record in achieving sales forecast accuracy
* Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge, experience in IBP. Strong problem/trouble shooting skills and process of follow up. Experience with PowerBi is an advantage
* Ability to manage and influence 3rd party teams
* Full English written and spoken proficiency
* Experience within a multi-site 'warehouse' location environment is of benefit
* Exceptional Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
* Highly Organized & Proactive: A self-starter with excellent planning and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively under pressure and consistently meeting strict deadlines.
