Administration Officer
Our Lady of Good Counsel School, located in Karrinyup, is a single stream Catholic primary school comprised of students from Kindergarten through to Year 6. At Our Lady of Good Counsel School we cherish each child and strive to create an environment which enables them to experience the joy and wonder of our world. Staff create a welcoming environment where all children and families are respected and actively encouraged to contribute. The school has a strong, inclusive parent community.
We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Administration Officer to work in our School Administration Office. The role is 3 days per week Monday - Wednesday from 8am to 4pm (41 weeks/year).
Selection Criteria
• Demonstrated commitment to the ethos and values of Catholic education and the mission of a Catholic primary school.
• Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively to adults and children.
• Proven experience providing professional, welcoming and efficient reception and customer service support.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to team culture.
• High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and school administration systems such as SEQTA and AoS (or similar).
• Demonstrated commitment to discretion, confidentiality, integrity and professional conduct.
• Capacity to meet all role requirements, including first aid responsibilities, student administration, and compliance with child safety and police clearance requirements.
Desirable:
• Experience with student enrolment process.
• Senior First Aid qualification.
Qualifications Required
• Have or be willing to attain the appropriate accreditation to work in a Catholic School.
