About the Roles Peoplebank is seeking applications for a large transformation program within the Federal Government, which is currently underway and will expand into a larger phase later this year and early next year. We are looking for candidates who can start this year, but early next year is also acceptable.We are recruiting multiple Senior .Net Software Developers for an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions. The Role and Team You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build simple, helpful, respectful, and secure services for everyday Australians. The work will involve 2-3 days on-site and hybrid work based in Canberra. Required Skills and Responsibilities Develop and maintain Azure-based web APIs and portal applications to support legislative reporting and regulatory processes.Integrate system components to provide seamless end-to-end user experiences.Provide technical advice related to systems development.Apply secure coding practices to ensure solutions are secure and robust.Conduct peer reviews of code and infrastructure.Work with detailed application architecture documents.Ensure adherence to best practices and departmental standards.Create and review technical and release documentation.Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team.Mentor team members to promote collaboration and professional development.Foster a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and teamwork.Undertake additional duties as required.
