Loan Set Technician – Brisbane
The Loan Set Technician will manage loan sets and related inventory, ensuring accurate handling, shipping, and compliance with ISO 9001:2015 / ISO13485 standards.
Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, check and receive all stock, including loan sets.
* Receive and dispatch loan set/kit returns, ensuring they are intact and ready for re‐issue in a timely manner.
* Perform quality inspection of returned material/equipment.
* Identify and confirm status of returned material/equipment in SAP/ My Mediset to ensure accurate ownership.
* Assist with stock rotation of inventory and remove expired items where vital.
* Supervise all products by batch/lot number and serial number; all products must be individually tagged.
* Identify discrepancies in bookings and ensure Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CAPA) is implemented to minimise company risk.
* Perform domestic and international shipping duties and communicate delivery information to relevant departments.
* Track loan sets at all times during dispatch and return to facilitate quick turnaround and keep the VIC Operations team stocked.
* Assist the customer service team with enquiries to ensure bookings are processed accurately and stock is transacted via the tunnel to support accurate billing of non‐returned stock.
* Collaborate with team members to run day‐to‐day warehouse operations and meet branch surgery dates and internal key metrics.
* Work closely with sales staff to cater to their needs on a case‐by‐case basis and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Maintain an ISO 9001:2015 / ISO13485 compliant environment, following quality responsibilities, authority as defined by the Quality Manual and associated procedures while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines and housekeeping.
Qualifications
* Certificate in warehousing and distribution.
* Proven experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
* Experience in loan set operations.
* Experience working with contaminated materials.
* Exposure to the medical device industry.
* Understanding of Hospital CSSD process.
* Knowledge in SAP / Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) processes.
