The opportunity
This pivotal role combines strategic account management with the pursuit of new market opportunities, focusing on promoting both products and tailored service solutions. As you manage and expand your territory, you'll engage with a wide range of stakeholders to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the market landscape, product offerings, competitive positioning, and solution-based selling.
Selection criteria
* Proven external sales experience – blend of account management and new business development
* Experience within capital equipment, building, carpentry or related industry sectors
* Demonstrated results in managing / growing existing accounts
* Identifying and creating opportunities and building a sales pipeline
* Advanced communication / interpersonal skills – with the ability to influence and negotiate
* Current QLD drivers' license with the ability to travel
