The Location
Heritage Lodge, a 103 bed residential aged care facility located in Murwillumbah in the Tweed Shire, 13km south of the Queensland border. Surrounded by homely comforts and beautiful gardens, we enjoy a close-knit community that feels more like a family.
The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported. These include:
o Providing and monitoring the care of residents
o Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
o Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
o Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
o Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team
To be successful, you will have:
o Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
o Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
o Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
o Complete a police check
o NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
o Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
o Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
