Opportunity:
As our new Internal Communications Specialist, you will report to the Head of Communications and work collaboratively with the communications team to maintain and expand our internal communications function.
You'll also:- Write clear and effective employee communications promoting RSL LifeCare's brand and culture.- Partner with stakeholders to deliver critical business communications.- Create engaging digital content for various communication channels, including videos, podcasts, graphics, and sound design.- Manage our intranet homepage ('Your Cooee') and other internal communication technology platforms.- Implement programs fostering employee engagement through EVP with the People and Culture team.- Provide internal communications support and guidance to strategy, planning, and change management teams.- Assist with executing crisis communication plan as directed by Head of Communications.
We need you to have:
- A relevant university level qualification in communication and media arts.- Strong writing and communication skills that will enable you to successfully partner across business functions to identify and create engaging internal communications materials.- Creative flair, including the ability to develop great visual materials and digital experiences to support communications.- Strong skills in Adobe Suite - in particular, Photoshop, Indesign, and Premier Pro.- A working knowledge of (or propensity to quickly learn) communication technology such as intranet (SharePoint), Meta Workplace, Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, to create exciting innovative communication experiences.- The ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively, but also to adapt and respond to emerging issues, short deadlines and other demands or challenges.- You're a team player that thrives on cross functional collaboration with other business areas such as marketing, strategy and planning, change management and public relations.
Desirable:
- At least three years' internal communications experience within a large multi-faceted organisation.
