We are seeking an assistant industrial painter to expand our small team with a view to a genuine long-term full-time position. The successful applicant will be well supported and work in a clean workshop environment.
Qualifications & requirements
* Australian recognised trade certificate
* Able to work independently or as part of a team
* Forklift licence is an advantage
* Apprentice Industrial Painters in 3rd or 4th years are encouraged to apply
Tasks & responsibilities
* Preparation and cleaning of surfaces
* Preparation and mixing of paint
* Stock control and purchasing of supplies
* Finishing and painting of vehicle bodies
* Finishing and painting of steel structures
* Use of modern equipment
* On-site work where required
* Work in a safe, small team environment with a family-oriented company
