About the Role

Autoleague is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee our IT infrastructure across our Victorian sites.

This role is responsible for managing systems, security, networks, and site configurations while driving continuous improvement and innovation. Reporting to the Head of Security & IT Operations, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting our technology landscape — ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across all locations.

Key Responsibilities IT Infrastructure & Systems
* Oversee implementation and maintenance of IT systems
* Manage network, security, storage, and system administration
* Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
* Lead system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
* Manage IT projects including design and deployment of new systems
* Ensure new sites are fully configured with required telecommunications and IT equipment
* Maintain and document IT and DMS systems and configurations
* Project manage communication systems (e.g. Webex)
Leadership & Team Development
* Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to IT team members
* Deliver training and development opportunities
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
* Assist with service helpdesk support as required
Strategy & Continuous Improvement
* Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practice guides
* Partner with stakeholders to analyse business requirements and deliver IT solutions
* Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend competitive solutions
* Monitor productivity and cost-effectiveness of IT infrastructure
Operational Management
* Manage IT equipment procurement, purchase orders, and supplier relationships
* Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate documentation, templates, and user procedures
* Ensure compliance with OH&S policies and company standards

About You Essential Skills & Knowledge
* Strong knowledge of IT security, networking, systems administration, databases, and storage
* Excellent technical management and analytical capability
* Outstanding project management skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* Ability to build credibility and strong stakeholder relationships
* Self-motivated and team-oriented
Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT role
* Proven experience delivering excellent customer service
* Ideally previous experience as a System Administrator within a medium to large organisation
Desirable
* Previous IT management experience
* Automotive industry experience
* Dealer Management System knowledge
Qualifications Essential:
* Certificate IV in Information Technology (or related discipline)
Desirable:
* Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field
