About the Business
The Attorney‐General's Department (AGD) is a key portfolio within the South Australian Government, employing more than 1,900 staff. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is a division of the AGD responsible for protecting consumers, supporting and regulating businesses, and recording significant life events for South Australians. CBS is customer‐focused and flexible in its activities, providing accessible information and services.
Responsibilities
* Lead information and records management governance, frameworks, and compliance across CBS.
* Deliver information management projects within agreed scope, timeframes, and quality standards.
* Provide expert advice on information governance, privacy, security, and records management practices.
* Manage project risks, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships and lead consultation and change activities.
Qualifications & Skills
* Strategic and collaborative professional with experience leading complex information or records management initiatives, ideally within government or large organisations.
* Strong knowledge of information governance and relevant legislation.
* Proven project management capability.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Aptitude to provide trusted advice to senior leaders while driving practical business improvements.
Additional Requirements
* Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
* Some out‐of‐hours work may be required.
* Some interstate and intrastate travel may be required.
