We are currently seeking multiple experienced Maritime Security Officers to work in Darwin on a casual basis. Position Details Maritime Security Officers are responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused security services, ensuring safe and memorable travel experiences for travelers and visitors transiting through Darwin, the tourism gateway to paradise. Responsibilities Provide high-quality front-line customer service and support.Identify risks and resolve issues.Perform general maritime security guard duties, including administrative tasks.Work effectively within a team environment.Handle ad hoc duties as required. Essential Qualifications & Experience Current First Aid certificate & CPR.Current MSIC license (or eligibility to apply).Current NT Security license.Availability to work a 24/7 roster.Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.Current Driver's License and reliable transport.Full work rights.Excellent customer service skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).Intermediate computer skills.Professional presentation.Proven experience in conflict resolution.Good administration skills.Ability to walk and stand for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts).
