Role Overview:
Take your career offshore and support a milestone infrastructure project that will make history in the Pacific.
As Civil Foreman, you'll play a key leadership role on site — overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all civil works are delivered to specification, safely and on schedule. You'll thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment and bring the practical know-how to lead a diverse team in a cross-cultural setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on site.
* Manage subcontractor performance, productivity, and quality.
* Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure compliance with design, safety, and environmental standards.
* Work closely with the Construction Manager and Project Engineer to drive program delivery.
* Mentor and develop local team members, building capability and collaboration.
Skills and Experiences:
About You:
You're an experienced Civil Foreman with a strong background in complex infrastructure or Defence-standard projects, ideally with exposure to remote or international construction environments. You're calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and thrive leading multicultural teams.
You'll Bring:
* 10+ years' experience in civil construction, including supervisory roles.
* Proven experience managing subcontractors and site operations.
* Sound knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
* Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Willingness to work on rotation in Honiara.
