Growing local business requires a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to join their team on the North Shore

Join a growing services business on the North Shore that supports over 1000 clients nationally.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a hybrid finance team of 9 staff and oversee day-to-day operations. This includes high volume AP/AR, payroll, month-end close, assisting with budgeting and forecasting as well as cash-flow management. You will play a key role in building strong relationships with long-standing team members, and supporting the CFO and directors with financial insights. There is a pathway to Financial Controller in the future.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience managing a finance team (ideally 5+ staff).
Hands-on technical expertise across AP/AR, payroll, month-end, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow.
Familiarity with MYOB is highly regarded.
Strong people-management, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Collaborative, supportive approach and willing to work alongside the team.
Ability to quickly earn trust and credibility with the team.
