For To hit the ground running, we need someone who is \"handy\" on the tools and possesses a strong work ethic. Whether you come from a carpentry, cabinet making, or general maintenance background, your skills are needed here.
Highly Desirable Experience: Trade Proficiency: Extensive experience with hand and power tools. Maintenance Knowledge: Proven ability to troubleshoot and fix doors, locks, hinges, and general hardware.
Versatility: Ability to pivot between minor carpentry, painting, and basic facility repairs. Your Daily Impact Ensure the safety and functionality of a critical government asset.
Your day-to-day will include: Facility Maintenance: Repairing and maintaining doors, windows, and structural assets. Reactive Repairs: Responding quickly to maintenance requests to ensure site security.
Asset Care: Performing preventative maintenance checks to identify potential issues before they arise. Safe Operations: Working within strict safety protocols to maintain a secure environment. Mandatory Requirements
Blue Card: Must hold or be willing to attain (reimbursable). Tool Experience: Solid background in trades or facilities maintenance. Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a comprehensive police check for government site access.
