Overview
AME 2 ($48.67) or AME 3 ($53.26) per hour + super. Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) offers the complete lifecycle of defence platforms and invites skilled aircraft maintenance professionals to join our ACEA (Air Combat Electronic Attack) program at RAAF Base Amberley.
Join our team at BDA's Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services Capability as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. You will be hands-on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault-finding on aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the MRO team to ensure effective task completion.
- Ensure compliance with DASR Part 145 MOE regulations.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
- Maintain QA procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the wellbeing of all personnel.
What you will bring to BDA
As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Armament)
- Australian Citizenship to meet Defence security requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Previous experience working with military aircraft
- CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence
This role may require travel and periods working away from home. It offers a chance to work in a different environment with our customer while performing the duties of the role.

Security Clearance
