The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities across financial control, tax compliance, foreign currency transactions, and manufacturing cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting packs.
BAS preparation and lodgement, payroll tax, and superannuation compliance.
Intercompany accounting, including foreign currency transactions and reconciliations.
Support for capex management, fixed asset registers, and year-end stocktakes.
Manufacturing job costing and variance analysis.
Provide data and insights to support budgets and forecasts.
Assist with internal/external audits and drive process improvements.
Your Profile 3-5 years' experience as a Financial Accountant in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced multinational corporate.
CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards completion.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with ATO requirements (BAS, PAYG, payroll tax, super).
Experience with intercompany and foreign exchange transactions highly regarded.
Advanced Excel skills.
