The Industry Consultant role sits within our Employment Services business unit Transition to Work, that we deliver on behalf of the federal government, it is a free and voluntary program for Youth. Our young people will be 15-24 years of age and experience a range of barriers, from severe mental health, homelessness, AOD dependencies, to family relationship breakdowns and potentially failed school experiences, not to mention we have a diverse caseload with young people from minority groups including culturally diverse, indigenous and those from an LGBTQIA+ background so we are seeking positive, engaging and solution focused people with a 'can do' approach to join us.

**Who are you?**

You are an experienced networker/ business development professional with the ability to use specialised these skills to create and maintain positive working relationships with external stakeholders. You have a demonstrated ability to build relationships, network and promote services.

You love working in a productive and collaborative environment, and want to bring your drive, passion and most importantly your first-class customer and networking ability to a role where you are enabling better lives.

We find people with a background in employment services, youth support, business development, sales and/or networking a great fit for this role. Your desire to help the young and meet business objectives will make you a good fit for an Industry Consultant.

**What you will be doing...**

This is a full time, permanent position is based across our Caboolture office (3 days weekly) and Deception Bay (2 days weekly). Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Your role will be to identify, develop and maintain relationships with employers, community service organisations and training organisations to create opportunities for our youth to secure employment in their local labour market.
- Promoting APM and the Transition to Work program
- Identifying, creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (local employers and community organisations)
- Advocating and marketing our youth to local employers
- Book in Employers and other guest speakers to discuss employment opportunities
- Attend employment Expo's
- Meet our jobseekers before advocating them & provide ongoing support once they are employed

**To be considered, you will have...**
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Demonstrated sales/networking/business development skills
- A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
