About the Role
As a Heavy Road Transport Mechanic/Fitter, you'll service and maintain our fleet of Kenworth road trains and side tipper trailers operating across various remote mining locations. You'll work independently and as part of a tight-knit team to keep transport assets safe, reliable, and ready for anything.
As a Leading Hand, you'll lead a team of HRT mechanics/fitters and an apprentice. This role is both leadership-focused and hands-on. You'll oversee daily operations, support your team, and step in as a mechanic where required to ensure everything runs smoothly.
What we want to hear from you
* Valid Australian Trade Certificate
* White Card (preferred)
* HR Drivers Licence (preferred)
* 3–5 years' road transport maintenance experience, preferably with side tipper trailers
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
* Able to work independently and safely
* Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to process
