**EL2 - Director, Digitisation**:

The National Library of Australia is seeking to fill the integral role of **Director, Digitisation (EL2)** in in Collaboration Branch. This is a leadership position within the Branch and organisation.
This role provides strategic direction to the section and the Collaboration Branch including developing business plans, complex and sensitive work programs that have political and operational significance.
You will identify, build and maintain excellent relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including digitisation partners and service providers. You will provide strategic advice, problem solving issues management and escalation to support your stakeholders. This includes:
- Promoting the Library's strategic objectives.
- Negotiating on behalf of the Library to achieve successful strategic outcomes.
- Appraising relevant trends and future developments and contributing to shaping and implementing corporate goals and priorities
As the Director, Digitisation, you will lead and manage the operations of the Digitisation Team This includes developing your employees and contractors, coaching, performance management change management, conflict resolution and the identification of development needs.
You will promote a health and safe workplace environment and mode ethical behaviours in accordance with the APS Code of Conduct and APS Values.
