If you've built up skills in the construction industry and love helping others learn and grow, this could be the role for you! You'll enjoy a flexible, hands-on role, supporting students to gain real-world skills and confidence for the workplace.
What you'll do
* Share your industry experience and deliver Construction White Card training to prepare students for safe work in construction
* Plan and deliver engaging training sessions, incorporating practical, hands-on activities and assessments
* Support students from diverse backgrounds and experience levels
* Help students become job-ready and build lasting confidence

What you'll bring
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Essential
* Recent experience in building or construction, and CPCWHS1001 White Card
* Comfortable using everyday tools like drills, saws and other common construction equipment
* Collaborative and approachable, with strong people skills
* Well organised and able to take initiative
* Ability to manage course materials, reporting, and assessments independently.
* Confident with tech and online platforms; familiarity with Canvas is a bonus.
Additional requirements
* Flexibility to travel to different training locations across Sydney or the Central Coast
* Current driver's license and your own car for transporting equipment
* Ability to lift up to 20kg when setting up and transporting tools and materials
* Positive attitude and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work with people from all backgrounds
* (You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
