Home Care Worker opportunity in Swansea, NSW. We are looking for someone with 3 months or more experience in a similar role to help older members of the community maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing.

Qualifications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.
- Experience of 3 months or more in a similar role.
The Role
You will provide our aged care clients with home help services such as general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and meal planning/shopping. You will also provide personal care services including assistance with mobility, showering, dressing, and supporting clients with high care needs (e.g., dementia). You will offer social and emotional support and transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments, helping the family carer to have a break.
What You’ll Do
- General housekeeping, making beds, cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry.
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day.
- Assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
- Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
- Providing social and emotional support.
- Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments.
- Supporting the family carer to have a break or time to do other things.
