About the Role
An opportunity now exists for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join the team. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are dispatched accurately, efficiently and in excellent condition.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role involving a variety of warehouse duties including:
* Picking, packing, wrapping and dispatching customer orders
* Unloading vehicles and receipting stock into the warehouse
* Stock control and assisting with stocktake
* General housekeeping and basic maintenance tasks
* Supporting deliveries and general warehouse operations
You'll demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork while upholding Fernland's values and high standards of customer service.
About You
You are a motivated, hard-working individual who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. You'll also bring:
* A current LF Class High Risk Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
* A strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Reliability, punctuality and initiative
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A flexible approach to daily tasks and operational needs
Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment will be highly regarded, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
