**About the Position**
**Job Role**
As a Logistics Manager you will be reporting to the company's Director e and will be responsible for controlling the fleets and logistic movements by ensuring that the operations are running regularly, efficiently, free of risks, withing the planned timeframe at a less cost possible.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Creating and reviewing policies and strategies aiming logistics efficiency.
- Reviewing and changing strategies to maintain the flow on stock levels.
- Reviewing procedures that aim to reduce costs on operations and increase quality of delivery
- Managing logistics systems, inspect the flow of fleet
- Planning routs to optimise courier and tax truck services.
- Recording the movements of supplies by ensuring the delivery happens within the planned timeframe.
- Doing business and negotiating contracts with clients and partnering businesses
- Leading and managing logistic staff, operations and liaise with co-related departments.
- Ensuring the logistics are running free of risk and constraints.
**Skills required**
- Knowledge in logistics.
- Advanced Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Knowledge in spreadsheets and dashboard.
- Management skills.
- Previous experience in the same role required.
**Education and Experience Required**:
- Bachelor degree in Logistics and co-related areas is a plus;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics.
**Working Arrangements**
- Permanent & Full-time Position.
- 38 per week.
- Salary: $70,000 per year plus superannuation.
- 9am to 5pm
- Monday to Friday
